Spending a few days around
the lake gave us the opportunity to do a few essential repairs - only one
major oil leak on the landy - this time the front right swivel seal.
The Haynes manual came in handy (thanks Colin for leaving it with the
Landy), so Luca and I started the process of stripping the joint and
checking the seal. We think it the problem was not the seal but rather a
lose hub nut so we tightened everything up and hopefully it now sorted. A few hours later we had completed the task and had remounted all the bits 'n bobs. |
