Depot Nomad
Arriving in a village South of Merzouga Laribe offered to take us to a
shop which sold the Berber headgear. We got the scarves, but at a
price - the price of a carpet which now lies somewhere in the depths of
Maggie's rear!
Exotic Sahara Dunes
Debbie writes ... In the distance we glimpsed the pink sand dunes of
the Sahara - they were truly amazing! The closer and closer we got
to Merzouga the more incredible they appeared. We were now very near
the Algerian border - I never imagined the desert to have such an exotic,
seductive appeal to it. Again we were struck for words and let our
cameras do the talking instead.
