Two Mile Reef - Bazaruto
Martin writes... What a day!  Rodriquez was a good salesman - not interested in telling us which trip was good during this month, rather he played on our stupidity and sold us a trip that took a whole day - BUT, in the wrong season.

The plan was to head to a reef, aptly named Two Mile Reef, snorkel and head to the Bazaruto beach for lunch. However, the day started out well but ended very roughly...

Leaving around 8am, we were full of smiles and enthusiasm for a great day snorkelling. Hours later, we reached the reef and were steadily rocked and rolled into the dreaded sea-sickness.  Our snorkelling, lasted a mere 10min in the rough weather .  It was just too rough to enjoy anything decently - which was a great pity as the marine life was incredibly spectacular! Instead, we headed for the nearby island to recover and enjoy some lunch (for those who could).  Our return trip took 3 hours ... at which stage we wearily stepped upon mother-earth with wobbly legs, churned tummies and for some, very burnt bodies!!

Emiel describing just how big it was... that is, before the weather got the better of us!

It was this big...

Actually ... it was this BIG!
