As day 300 dawned, it was with sadness that we approached the South African border post and the end of our African Adventures.  The immigration officer stamped our passports, the police (no customs) stamped our carnet and Maggie, the Land Rover, rolled onto perfect tar roads. Our final destination lay 2000km South... on perfect tar roads but it would bring us our first puncture of the trip.
