The quest for Vehicle Insurance has begun.  Colin had mentioned to me that the Q-Plate registration number (meaning modified vehicle) in the UK might prove to be a little difficult to insure. it sure has - Maggie has a history and every insurance company wants to know about it!

I called two companies today -

NFU (National Farmers Union) - They quoted £320 comprehensive but wanted an independent engineering report on the build quality of the Landy.  This is my preferred choice as I have used them to insure my Discovery for 4 years.

SureTerm - only £229 for 3rd Party cover.  Not really an option but all they required was a Thatcham 2 approved alarm.

I am waiting for a call back from NFU re. the report as I have submitted a copy of the MOT and VOSA report.
