Mt Kilimanjaro - Day Seven

Simon writes... What a feeling! From a fifteen year old admiring my father's photos, to me grinning like a banshee with a great bunch of friends and my lovely wife, with Killi in the background.  I love Africa and the Kilimanjaro experience brings it all flooding in. Thank you Martin and Debbie, Julius and the team, for giving me the opportunity to fulfil a dream.

Lisa writes... Julius and the guys thank you so much for making it all possible. Without you I don't know if I would have made it to the top. Asante sana!

All smiles

Nigel writes... It's all down hill now. I start thinking a wash might be nice, a beer would be good - the pain is forgotten. We descend quickly and as I look back at Kili I am still in shock and amazement at the beauty of this place. As I write, I still don't think the full impact of this amazing adventure has sunk in. Thanks to all of Julius' team that got us all to the top and thanks to all my friends in our party for their support and humour on a journey I will never forget. But most of all thank you Mount Kilimanjaro for sharing some of your beauty with me.

Ann Marie writes... I am on such a high now, racing down-hill with a big smile on my face. We are all smiling and looking forward to a nice hot shower and glass of champers (or better, a bottle) and of course a toilet which has now become a luxury item!! I don't know if I can put into words to express what a fantastic experience and achievement this has been for people to understand. I think you have to do it to truly appreciate it. Julius talks about this mountain with passion and love - you really get to know this mountain well. This helped us all understand the mountain and achieve our goal. Thank you Julius and the team for making me realise my goal! Also a huge big thank you to Debbie and Martin for organising the whole trip and not just Kili, the whole African experience and the lovely time at Kuota. Another big thank you to Nigel who made this a wonderful enjoyable experience for me - and to Lisa and Simon for their enthusiasm and support.

Debbie writes... This is definitely an experience I will treasure for life. To share such elation with dear friends is truly something special. Endless thanks goes to Julius, his brilliant team and to my wonderful partner, Martin.
