Benin
It was a huge relief to wake up in Benin especially after a rather expensive exit out of Togo. We parked up on a side-road, which turned out to be a road leading to a 'biggish' village.  Within minutes we had loads of people coming over to greet us. The village mayor came to welcome us later that night - it transpired that Benin had been instructed to make all Togo-exiles feel welcome in their country :-)
