Our planning is focussed on West Africa avoiding Nigeria before heading East to Sudan.
From Sudan, our trip starts to travel the well-known South bound route crossing Ethiopia, into Kenya until finally reaching South Africa.

The issues we are facing with this route is around the Chad / Sudan border (Darfur Region).

We will continue to monitor the situation but our thoughts are focussed on an alternative route South.
