According to Debbie, the
process was very easy thanks to the outstanding paperwork JAS (SA & UK
Shipping agents) had presented. Once the driver and flatbed truck
had arrived the container was retrieved using a huge twin-loading
container crane. Debbie was telling me that in a corner of the
docks are stacked huge amounts of crashed containers. Its a good thing the
crane did not drop our container!
And we thought SA had big ones...

Gently now...

Cutting of the lock...
|
...and there she is!
|
Tight squeeze...
|
|
Luckily for
Debbie the flatbed truck driver was willing to connect the battery and get
Maggie started saving her from getting herself dusty and having to
reconnect the batteries. Debbie reckoned it only took a few turns of
the starter motor to fire her up. Not bad after chilling at sea for
three weeks and arriving back in 6Deg C weather!!
Getting loaded on the flatbed truck...

Home sweet home!

And now
all that remains is to unpack her... get her MOT'ed and Taxed and then
she is ready for her next adventure!
