Entering Ghana
The African Adventure Atlas offered a huge amount of information regarding each country but for Ghana and the Mole National park, the information provided proved to be wrong.

That that we were to find out a few days later.  First we had to cross the border which proved to be a relaxed and pleasant experience.  It took us less than an hour to complete all the B-Faso and Ghanian formalities.

Our plan for Ghana was to head directly for the famed Mole National Park and to enjoy a cold beer overlooking the waterhole.

The first Ghanian minor roads

The Adventure Atlas has the road listed but the wrong towns had been listed. In every village, we got very surprised looks and when we asked for directions we were told that we had to go back to the main road as the road was very bad!  It proved to be a track, which in our terms was better than a tar road.
