Debbie writes... traveller's
plans are never set in concrete. On the recommendation of a local Zambian,
we set north towards Shiwa and the Kapishya hot springs. Tucked away from
everything, we found this piece of heaven on earth! The stunning pools are
fed by natural hot springs - making this the best hot bath ever! Soaking
with Nick, the owner, we were told that the springs generate 5 litres of
pure water every second. Incredibly, it is too pure to bottle for drinking
water.
A visit is highly recommended.

Teaming up with fellow
travellers Ula and Stefan (German), we set off for a 14km walk to find the
nearby Chusa Falls. Guiding ourselves through remote villages and bushveld,
we finally stumbled across the cascading waterfalls. Stunning sights and
refreshingly cool - wonderful walk!
